Lake Padden Golf Course

Lake Padden Golf Course is a traditional, inspiring and award-winning 18 hole championship golf course. The golf course measures 6,575 yards, but plays 5-10% longer than the actual yardage.

A traditional style layout, the course has many holes that are tucked away in the forest and make you feel like you are on your own private, personal golf course. Some come out to play golf; others come simply for a walk in the park using golf as the reason. Lake Padden offers unrefined beauty and peacefulness. The golf course is carved out of a second generation old growth forrest with trees upward of one hundred feet tall. With scenery, golf and service unparalleled, Lake Padden Golf Course is truly a place to experience.

In addition to a fantastic layout, Lake Padden is also home to the Lake Padden Golf School. Lead by Director of Instruction, Luke Bennett, PGA, the golf school is proud to offer the only First Tee Program in Whatcom County. A critically acclaimed program, The First Tee is focused on developing youth skills for life as well as the game of golf. The Lake Padden Golf School has a private driving range for instruction, as well as an indoor hitting bay with video analysis.

It is also home to the Bellingham Amateur Tournament held every Labor Day Weekend. One of the only three day amateur tournaments in the Northwest, the 2012 tournament will represent the 38th annual event.
