Life Skills Experience

The First Tee Life Skills Experience (LSE) is one of the unique features that differentiates The First Tee from many other successful junior golf programs. Through the LSE classes participants learn valuable lessons about the importance of maintaining a positive attitude; how to make decisions by thinking about the consequences of their actions and how to define and set goals from the golf course to everyday life.

LSE Classes are divided into five levels, starting with the PAR level for new players and progressing through BIRDIE, EAGLE, and ACE.   Class size is limited to 12 students per class. In order to progress from one level to the next, a participant must meet golf and life skills requirements through a series of assessments during class time. They also must meet the age minimum, which is determined by participants age during the calendar year of the session. We also offer the TARGET level program is also for interested participants ages 5 and up.
